Commissioned by an original Tuskegee pilot belonging to the Long Island, NY chapter of the Tuskegee Airmen and developed jointly with Cockpit USA, the first company to ever produce a jacket of this kind in the 80s, the new Tuskegee Airmen jacket represents this group of pilots’ bravery, their planes and different squadrons. An array of intricately embroidered patches on both sleeves and a specially designed, grand victory ‘V’ back patch, which includes all the airplanes flown by these airmen, saluting the accomplishments of the Tuskegee Airmen, not only in the skies but also for breaking through the racial barriers of the time with success.

"I love my jacket!! The quality of the leather is exquisite, supple, and will last a lifetime. I went to the Cockpit store to try different sizes to make sure I got the right size. If unable to go to the store make sure you send all your measurements. Stephanie was extremely helpful in making sure I had the perfect fit. I ordered my Tuskegee Airmen

"I ordered my Tuskegee Airmen A -2 in April and received it in late May. The weight was worth it when my jacket arrived. It was in perfect condition. Look the smell the weight of it. Everything was just unbelievably authentic. , and the fit was perfect. I think that was so because I received so much help from Stephanie Clark in the showroom who took time to show me several different jackets how they looked how they felt and what size would be right for me and with her help we hit a bull’s-eye. And . even though it was getting warm I wore my Tuskegee jacket the first weekend I had it. I just had to show it off and in fact I did receive several compliments. I was blown away by the level of detailing the quality of the stitching, the embroidery on the patches arrangement of the patches and all little details that went into making this jacket they were just spot on. . anyone with an interest in the Tuskegee airmen of World War II should definitely consider buying this jacket"
