This is my third Cockpit USA jacket

"I ordered these jackets because I've lost wight and my old stuff won’t fit, i also have a B3 bomber and a black insulated G1 so this is my third Cockpit jacket. All three jackets are awesome, i live in Colorado so these jackets are perfect for our weather, but this latest jacket the Avenger G1 is my Favorite, Matt at Cockpit advised me to order one size up so i did, perfect fit, I highly recommend this company’s products."

Comfortable

"Awesome jacket. I have three other Cockpit G-1 jackets, all of which are covered with patches: the “Top Gun Navy G-1 Jacket” (Z201036M), the “Movie Hero Top Gun Navy G-1 Jacket” (Z201036T), and the “Bogard by Mike B x Cockpit USA Stealth Top Gun Bomber Jacket” (Z21W106). This Avenger G-1 Bomber Jacket is the only plain version I have. Not only does it complement the rest very nicely, but it also stands out with its distressed look. And the specially treated goatskin leather feels exceptionaly comfortable. Well done, Cockpit!"

Nicejacket

"I purchased my first G-1 and it had a problem with the fur collar being uneven and not straight. I contacted Kelvin there and they had me ship it to them for repair. Instead they replaced it after I initially tried through MyPilot where I originally ordered but was told I couldn’t return it after 30 days when I realized something was off with the collar. As a last resort I reached out to MyPilot to share of my unhappiness with such an expensive jacket having this kind of problem. So they told me to contact Cockpit who was the actual manufacturer and Kelvin and crew stepped up and replaced the jacket. Under the circumstances I couldn’t ask for more considering a year had passed. Thank you Cockpit and Kelvin and Jacky."

WOW! BEST G-1 EVER!

"got this today and was blown away. sure it looked good in the ad, but it's such a gorgeous jacket in person too. since i have a few totally milspec G-1s with no side entry pockets, i made an allowance and got this piece, allowing myself to compromise. and it was totally worth it. while it has the vibe of a 1950s flight jacket, with the distressed but faux wear and faded mouton, constructionwise it compares to the late 80s Cooper mil issue jackets, Cooper later becoming Cockpit, who made this. why i point that out is that, since the 80s is now 40 years past, a jacket with this wear could just about be real. and so cool. the front tabs which are part of the jacket body, without being seamed, was an innovation of Cooper, and still part of the Cockpit design. the rest of the trim fit jacket could be an 80s Cooper too. so it indeed could be a true piece of aviation from the past (we won't tell). and again, the side entry pockets are done so well, no one can tell unless you use them. interesting is that the right hand pocket is slightly higher placed than the left. knowing about G-1s i'm aware that placement is part of the original back in the day construction specifications. only by about 1/4", but such a mostly unknown detail, and others, is part of what makes this piece so cool. one thing's for sure, people will wonder where you got a real military aviator jacket (if you don't happen t o look like a fighter pilot). but i didn't get it to impress. i just love wearing it!"

AWESOME

"My favorite jacket. Aesthetically, it doesn't get any cooler than this. And as far as quality, reputation, and customer service, it doesn't get any better. The fit is definitely slim as described. I'm 6'2" (and a half), 190lb, athletic body type, and the large fits perfectly. Doesn't sit too high or low at the waist; it's perfect. We originally tried medium based on my measurements, but it just ended up being too tight and short around the arms. I still HIGHLY recommend sending in your measurements; I'm a bit of a special case. This jacket is also incredibly comfortable, despite being slim fit. Usually you're sacrificing some mobility with slim fit, but the leather is not stiff and the bi-swing back is absolutely KEY; I can actually drive comfortably with this jacket on. The collar is so soft and comfy, no itch whatsoever. The customer service was extremely responsive and helpful throughout the whole process of measurements and with helping me swap the medium for a large. It's also important to me that if I ever have issues and/or questions down the road, the company has a reputation for continuing to support their customers. As for the aesthetics, I love it already. And it's pretty versatile; you're not going to throw it over a suit but it looks great with anything from jeans/tshirt/suede chelsea boots to slacks and a nice button down shirt- really anything from casual to dress casual."
