"I have now owned two cotton A2 jackets from The Cockpit and they are built to last. The first one lasted 15 years and my second one is now going on 15 as well! They are full fit so buy a size down for best fit."

"I've been buying Avirex military jackets for years, dating back to the mid-1980s (started with an A-2 flight jacket). This cotton A-2 replaces a prior cotton A-2 Flying Tigers jacket that is fairly worn out now. Both the cotton and the leather jackets have been superbly made and of high quality. This new one is the seventh jacket from Avirex and now Cockpit USA. Also have a 50-mission crush pilot's cap and US Army Air Corps shirt and scarf from Avirex/Cockpit. Will continue to be a loyal customer."

"Outstanding craftsmanship. The fit widget was right on with "small" recommendation for 5'8", 168 lbs, 76 years. Usually wear a Large in other clothing lines. Number of storage pockets and size of each great for travel. Well worth the higher price than other jackets on the market."
