Disappointed

"Ordered the jacket and it was back ordered. So, by the time I got it the weather was warm. That’s ok. Had a cold snap this weekend so I could use it. Poor construction. The seams or threading on the lining began to unravel after only a wear or two. Now too late to return so I patched the seams. Then today wearing and the button on the pocket broke. Only snapped it two or three times."

"I have an original version of this. They are amazing and so warm. Nothing like them. The insulation must be made out of lava for how warm they keep you. So great you can buy a new one with REAL fur ruff. Cool! I read some peoples reviews and complaints. Cockpit USA made it like an original. The fact you feel the hood should come off is irrelevant. Or it should have this or that. The original hood is attached. Cockpit USA makes great products. Also love that they make in the USA. I don't work for Cockpit nor know anyone who does. But thank you for US manufacturing."

I’m interested

"I am in the market and like that your garment is made in the USA. I wish you could make it a little more mil spec like the real McCoy jacket which is made in Japan. It would also be a plus to have the fur trim removable and should not be to complicated to add that feature."

Not worth the price!

"I’m going to be totally honest. The price you are asking for the coat is not worth it. The hood is not detachable. The drawstring in the waist has no locking buttons. The hood also. Totally over priced!"

🔥Cold is NOTHING to this Parka🔥

"I'm 6 feet tall, 168 lbs, 22 years old. I ordered my normal size of small, my chest measurement's 38 inches, and I'm a slim individual with a little belly. This Parka absolutely LAUGHED at the "Polar Vortex" we just had. Wind gusts of 30-40 mph with the wind chill below negative 20-30°F. Cinched up and the hood on with minimal layers, only a thermal long sleeve and a thicker long sleeve shirt, with a Carhartt helmet liner on with the hood drawn up to block my nose and face from getting frostbite from the BRUTAL winds, I stayed outside for an hour or two cleaning off my entire car, shoveling the entire driveway, and the front of the house plus the patio, & my upper body and head was the warmest part of me, felt hardly any cold whatsoever. Came inside, the hood ruff was just dripping with water, the raccoon fur hood caught 99% of the wind and snow, it's very warm and windproof over your head, but you need a liner/baclava to cover your face/nose against frostbite in below freezing temps, those parts of your face will still be hit from wind. I'm confident this thing will save your life in the most brutal of cold weather. If you need to wear more/thicker layers than what I specified above, you need to size up, because its snug once I fasten everything up with 2 light layers on. This is to be optimally worn with minimal clothing: a Tshirt alone, or with a thicker long sleeve on below that, 3 layers is pushing it if you order your normal size like I did, so be mindful of that."
