Best A2 I ever had

"Super soft for a horsehide jacket. Other A2 I had remain stiff even after many uses. This one fits like a glove since the very first moment. I add some orginal patches and now is looking AWESOME."

Supple

"Amazing jacket. I have two other Cockpit A-2 jackets — the “Flying Tigers 23rd Fighter Group Jacket” (Z21V60) and the “Spirit of ’45 Pinup Jacket” — and this is easily my favorite. To be clear, I love the other two as well, especially the “Flying Tigers” version, but this plain one is my new favorite. The battleworn look is beautiful and the horsehide is unbelievably supple. It’s like butter."

Been there done that patina!

"Patina straight out of the box! A very comfortable A-2 jacket to wear. As you wear this a few times it develops more patina on all the high spots, which is great if you’re looking for that, been there done that look!"

I'm hoping to get the Government Issue version too. An advantage of the Battleworn jacket is that there's no break in time as the leather is supple from the first day."

"Great jacket. Supple, thicker matte hide feels great right off the bat. Sizing is accurate. While it's not "correct" to have an inside pocket, it's very practical and discreet. Kudos for offering it without side warmer pockets. Though it's not an exact copy of an original maker A-2, the comfort and looks make this a very appealing jacket for the money."
