Dead Boy Detectives are a fictional supernatural detective duo who have appeared in comic books published by DC Comics. Based on Neil Gaiman's DC Comics characters of the same name, the Dead Boy Detectives made their first television appearance in HBO Max's Doom Patrol. This series was initially supposed to be a spin-off of the HBO series, however, the Neil Gaiman adaptation was later taken over by Netflix, making it a spin-off of the streamer's The Sandman series.

Created by writer Neil Gaiman and artists Matt Wagner and Malcolm Jones III in The Sandman universe, this new series follows characters Charles Rowland and Edwin Paine as they solve supernatural crimes. Much like Netflix's The Sandman or the Chilling Tales of Sabrina, Dead Boy Detectives packs enough supernatural quirkiness and intrigue in its storylines to keep viewers hooked.
Best known for his roles in Amazon's hit show The Summer I Turned Pretty and HBO's The Flight Attendant, Actor David Iacono plays, 'David the Demon', in the Dead Boy Detective series wearing Cockpit USA's Super Fortress Shearling Jacket throughout the show.
