Cockpit USA Showroom

Take a flight back in time at the Cockpit USA Sponsored American Airpower Museum this summer!:

Honor the 75th Anniversary of D-Day, June 6th, 1944, this summer by taking a journey back in time with a one of a kind immersive living history experience. Learn about the veterans of this historic event and what it meant to be part of the elite airborne divisions whose mission kicked off the June 6th, 1944 D-Day Invasion to liberate Europe and changed the course of World War Two. You will suit up and be briefed on the historic mission of the 101st and 82nd Airborne by a cadre of trained living historians. Then you will grab your gear and head out to board the museum’s Historic WWII Douglas C-47 “Skytrain”, the same aircraft that carried paratroopers during the war. You will enjoy a 20-25-minute flight around New York’s Long Island as the living historians teach you about the history of the famed “Night of Nights”, the mission to jump into occupied Europe. You will be guided by the living historians through the stories bravery and courage of both the aircrew, and paratroopers on the night of June 5th and the morning of June 6th, 1944. You will go through the paces all the way to hooking up to the static line, but don’t worry you won’t be jumping as you will end your experience after a great landing and photo sessions to remember your flight.

An incredible experience, that makes a great gift! This event is open to all ages, but minors must be accompanied. A Pre-Purchased Flight Experience includes admission for the rider and a guest to the museum during your visit. The cost of this one of a kind experience is a $350.00 contribution to the museum.
