NBC’s Quantum Leap is back for Season 2 with Melissa Roxburgh wearing the Cockpit USA Women’s Amelia Jacket as her Quantum Leap costume.

Quantum Leap is a sequel to the 1989 to 1993 NBC drama of the same name and set 30 years later after Dr. Sam Beckett (Scott Bakula) stepped into the Quantum Leap accelerator and vanished. In the new series, Raymond Lee (Top Gun: Maverick alum) stars as Ben Song, who makes an unauthorized leap into the past, leaving his team behind to solve the mystery of why he would ever do such a thing!

Canadian Actress Melissa Roxburgh will play Lt. Ellen Grier who is described as a “no-nonsense and authoritative” young woman Air Force Pilot. It's no wonder that the show’s costume team would choose the Amelia Earhart Jacket for the beautiful Melissa Roxburgh, considering that the Amelia jacket is a timeless style inspired by the bravery of the first “ leading lady of aviation”, Amelia Earhart. Amelia was the first female pilot to fly solo over the Atlantic Ocean and her story continues to inspire young pilots all over the world. The Amelia Jacket features similar details from Amelia’s original jacket with a contemporary style perfect for adventure or everyday wear.

While Quantum Leap is one of the few shows returning to broadcast TV this Fall amid the Hollywood strikes, we personally love working with Quantum Leap Costume Team and are looking forward to their return very soon!
