The Cockpit USA hand-painted Store Sign & Custom Jackets

Adding an exceptional touch to the Cockpit USA headquarters,  our resident artists have hand-painted the Cockpit USA company logo onto the largest piece of goatskin leather that we could find!

Inspired by the iconography of the Air Force and Marine Air Corps, the Cockpit USA logo and artwork was created by the Cockpit USA design team in homage to aviation history. The arched type, wings and shield are proudly painted in red, white and navy blue as a salute to our country and our mission of preserving American lifestyles in fashion, military and aviation history. The current logo is a rework of our original Cockpit logo that can be found on our mail order catalogs from the 80s and 90s. While the Cockpit USA logo has evolved over the years, both the old and new designs of the logo are inherently military.

A WWII tradition among pilots of painting slogans and beautiful women on the noses of their planes and backs of their jackets is back! Cockpit USA has offered hand-painted designs, available in made-to-order or custom jackets since 1975. Custom artwork and design are limited to Cockpit USA products. Pricing is  available upon request.

Featured above is the Cockpit USA limited edition hand-painted Remember Pearl Harbor™ Anniversary Jacket. An unparalleled A-2, each will be hand painted, personalized, and individually numbered for its owner. Designed as part of the events and ceremonies commemorating the 75th anniversary of the Pearl Harbor attacks, the first 10 Cockpit USA PH75 jackets were given to dignitaries, celebrities, and event organizers in Hawaii on December 7th, 2016. The artwork was created by our designers, and features the U.S.S. Arizona, a Curtis P-40, and the rallying call “Remember Pearl Harbor”. This men's horsehide leather jacket was proudly made in the USA.
