Here at Cockpit USA, we are a self confessed clan of aviation buffs and meat eaters! As much as we love the history, tales and artifacts that encompass air activities we just as much appreciate a high quality cut of beef. You can only imagine our delight when we discovered Hangar One Steakhouse. Located in Wichita, Kansas this eaterie combines tasteful aeronautical themed decor with an all American menu bustling with burgers, succulent steaks and pasta dishes to name but a few. Along with the friendly service and in house screenings of war movies and documentaries, all meals are served with a side of humor in the form of wittily named dishes such as the Onion Ring Tower of Power, B-17 Bomber Burger and the Sputnik Spinach Salad. Fully equipped with a summer ready Crash Pad patio, the restuarant also boasts a secretly stashed lounge called the Control Tower bar on the third floor, overlooking the runway at ICT airport and perfect for watching planes go up and the sun go down. West Wichita just became a Cockpit USA dining destination of choice!
