History.com: War Photographer

These days, living in the hey day of the ever advancing world of technology, photography, film and multimedia - sharing has become a piece of pie. Whether or not the convenience of capturing moments and subsequent masses of photos and video have resulted in a loss of meaning is open for debate. However, one thing is for sure - during WWII when the ease of recording anything was hampered by toiling battles and lack of equipment, access to footage of that time is certain to carry weighty sentiment and significance. Taken from the History.com archives of WWII, this short documentary recounts Albert Fagler's experience of discovering film canisters taken by his grandfather, an Army Air Corps photographer during World War Two.
