This Saturday will see New York inhabitants come together in an annual family friendly celebration at the city’s very last lighthouse. Organized by the Historic House Trust’s Fall Festival and with a focus on one of Manhattan’s most sacred and quaint landmarks, the lighthouse will be at the center of a whole host of festivities including live music, arts, crafts and readings of the much loved children’s storybook The Little Red Lighthouse and the Great Gray Bridge. Due to be a crisp but sunny day and perfectly located with views of the grand Hudson River, there’s no better way to spend this Saturday than with a touch of history, culture courtesy of the Little Red Lighthouse… Oh and a homemade picnic of course! Cockpit USA will be in attendance.
