This Day In History: Death of the President

It was on this day in 1963 that President John F. Kennedy was assassinated while traveling through Dallas in a convertible. Sitting beside his wife Jacky and waving to the crowds gathered to catch a glimpse of the iconic leader, it soon became a dark day in American history when the 35th president of the United States was allegedly targeted and fatally shot at by Lee Harvey Oswald.
