"The quality of this coat is truly impressive. The leather is supple, the light brown wool is beautiful, and the craftsmanship is simply outstanding. It is certainly an investment, but the quality and warmth, especially for harsh Quebec winter temperatures, make it worth every dollar. Customer service was exceptional from start to finish. Although the coat was on backorder, production and shipping were handled efficiently and even faster than expected. A special thank you to Matt for his prompt and helpful responses to my emails; he truly made the experience seamless. Top of the line!

"I bought this jacket two years ago now and I love it! Quality is great, its super warm, and it looks amazing! I wear this over a t-shirt during Norwegian winter in sub-zero temperatures and its just great. There is one thing i'd like to change after having used it for a while though. It's not a biggie, and maybe im the only one, but i'd prefer if the end of the side-pockets (where the tips of your fingers are) were sown/fastened/connected to the inside of the jacket. I mostly wear the jacket open with my hands in the side pockets. When i do this this the jacket opens a bit too much and is a bit "floppy". Having the tip/end of the pockets sown to the jacket would prevent this and keep the jacket slightly more "closed". Might have to see if I can find a solution. Apart from this, absolutely no complaints!"

Outstanding quality and comfort

"This coat is an amazing piece of gear. It fits me like a glove. The quality, from the leather to the lining and everything in-between, is simply unmatched. The outer side pockets are deep and well placed, as are the inner pockets. Zippers are heavy duty and function flawlessly. Stitching is outstanding throughout. The leather itself is uniquely creamy and soft, given that it constitutes the visceral (inner) side of the hide. The fur fringed leather hood is large enough to accommodate a thick cap. The shearling lining is dense but amazingly light, as is the coat overall. Customer service is prompt and outstanding, even for someone as annoyingly demanding as me. This amazing jacket has proven itself to be warm and rugged enough to combat the frequent sub-zero temperatures of American Midwest winters. It looks great and draws comments every time I wear it in public. It's not my only Cockpit USA leather jacket and definitely won't be the last."

Incredible coat

"Great coat. Everyone I meet comments on it. All the details are there - from underarm vents to inside pockets. - 20 degrees and you can have a tshirt underneath. Comfy as being in bed. Had one small issue with zipper pull, was resolved quickly. I love the hood, the fur lining is superb. The 4 star on value is onlyh because after converting to cdn dollars and paying duty this coat costs as much as a used car, but thats another issue - love the coat."
