In an impressive joint venture between the Army Air Force and the US Navy, the AN-J-4 jacket saw action in both units. Employed by USN crews piloting patrol bombers in the hunt for U-boats in the Atlantic, this jacket is effectively the Navy’s version the Army Air Force’s B-3 Bomber. The AN-J-4 jacket features all the same design aspects as the original and crafted for contemporary wear. The uniqueness of the garment is in its ability to combine leather and shearling in one. Please note that the shearling is tanned to “antique” as you wear it, giving “highs and lows” in the color so it looks as if you had this jacket since WWII. "The best part of what Cockpit has done, is to make some changes like adding side entry pockets, that are not in the originals. This makes the jacket so much more useable. And of course, like all of their products the Quality of the skins and stitching is top notch. I highly reccomend this jacket."
