"In the mid, 1970’s, I had the same MA-1 green jacket, USA-made by Schott. I purchased this Cockpit MA-1 jacket because it is USA-made and superior to Schott's current non-USA-made models. My favorite winter coats are my old USA-made Wool Woolrich 1970's hunting coat and my Schott Pea coat. This is now my go-to spring and fall jacket."

"Shopping experience was easy and delivery was fast and on time. Bought the authentic ma1 bomber in black and I have to say it’s a very well built jacket, good materials and thick zippers, good insulation as well. As far as fit I am 5”8 and weigh 160 pounds and sit around 9-10 percent body fat and I have to say the medium fits me perfect, enough room for a hoody, I do have wide shoulders with small waist, plenty of room in the waist and still some room in chest area, sleeve length was perfect as well. "20 Years ago, I purchased a MA-1 flight jacket from Burlington Coat Factory in Johnston, RI. This jacket was made in Korea and cost about $45 dollars. It was a signature "Sean John". The liner was black and quilted If I had known how good this jacket really was, I would have bought TWO. It has worn like iron, despite hard usage in all kinds of weather. I have tried to find this jacket online (even preowned) without success. I hope the jacket I bought from Cockpit does what my old one has done."

"This is a great jacket!! The quality is amazing. Really worth buying it, in spite of the higher price. The sage color is beautiful and the cuffs and neckline have a different tone of color which contrast the rest of the jacket quite nicely. Had a little trouble finding my size. For reference I am 5 feet 7 3/4 in or 1.71m and weigh about 167 pounds or 76kg. The size S was the best size for me, and is the one that sized more similarly to how it does on the man in the pictures. I also tried on a size XS. This was what the website recommended most when I typed in my measurements. IMO it was too slim for my linking. I also tried on the size M, which was oversized. I kind of liked it at first but the sleeves were way too long for my body and looked a little too puffy on me. Best of luck"
