Great hat but not the

"Great hat but not the one pictured in the promo ad. Center top seam done differently. The one in the pic looks much better. Attention to detail gets fifth star."

Large logo stitched onto cap - not shown in any photos.

"I had a couple of issues, and wound up returning this cap. First, the cap I received in the Russet color really did not resemble the deep, rich reddish brown in the online photos. It was more of faded, distressed, light brown, that I did not care for as much. But I would have been able to live with the color discrepancy. What I was unhappiest with was a very distinct logo patch stitched onto the cap that is not visible in any of the photos (e.g. it is on the reverse side of the cap from what is depicted). This was an unpleasant surprise. I did not want a prominent logo on the cap, and felt as though this should be pictured so consumers could make an informed purchase. Removing the patch afterwards would damage the cap. I had little choice but to return it. In fairness, Cockpit USA was helpful, and did provide a full refund."

"This is just the cap to wear on cold winter days with your shearling jacket. I've been looking at it for a while and finally decided to buy. It was a great deal with the discount I got. It's much warmer than the wool knit hats I have even without the ear flaps down. I thought it was a little expensive until I saw the prices for the eskimo trapper hats with fake fur I've seen people in my office wear, and I don't have to look like Nanook of the North; not that there's anything wrong with that."
