Overall great product
"I got mine probably 4-5 winters ago, and i was wondering if inside fur is synthetic or wool. . seems synthetic , please let me know if somebody knows. Thanks"
Crafted originally during WWII, the grand B-7 Parka was an essential asset in the protection of pilots and ground crews stationed in the bitterly cold climates of Alaska. With plummeting temperatures and unheated cockpits at altitudes of up to 20,000 feet, a heavy duty piece of outerwear was needed to keep out the chill and the specifically designed three-quarter length, plush shearling, and fur-trimmed men's brown parka fit the bill perfectly. You will love the fit and feel of this men's cold weather parka. Our B-7 Aleutian WWII Sheepskin Parka is not just the perfect winter coat for extreme cold, but also a true collector's item. Sheepskin varies from production to production but you'll always receive the same craftsmanship and warmth from Cockpit USA's B7 shearling jacket.

This is an amazing experience. Not just a coat.
I love this B7 coat. I live in Fairbanks Alaska. We see temperatures as low as -65. I have been in temperatures as low as -95 while in Breaver Creek. And don't let me get on to -90 in Prudhoe Bay with 28 miles an hour winds. Needless to say. I don't really look fowards to winter. I don't mind it. You get used to it. This year I can't wait for winter this year. I mean I have some cold weather gear but nothing like this.
And believe me. This coat has a bonus. The softness of the skin on the outside. It will make really miss being with a woman. If you know what mean. Just saying. - Bob R.

"Just received my B-7 yesterday May 6th 2026 I can’t wait for winter 🥶🥶🥶 jacket runs slightly small depending on the comfort your looking for up a size . My recommendation head down to the store to try it on if they have a sample one there."
"When I bought the coat I am in the middle of a broken arm. 1/10/2026 the cast came off. and I put on coat. It is so heavy and warm I can't wear it yet to heavy on my healing arm. I love it can't wait for winter 2026-2027. I would love the shearling jumpsuit."
"I would give 5 stars. I purchased the B7 parka and it is exactly what I was expecting from a leather sheepskin Parka. I feel this parka is made well and is very heavy and will keep me warm when I spend time in Michigan winters. I will likely be purchasing jackets from this site again, but overall very pleased with my purchase."
"I spend time in Michigan and my old parka needed to be retired. I found this Parka on Cockpit USA and first called to verify that they are a real company and was immediately greeted by a real person and a real knowledgeable salesperson. She helped me make my size, which is important for on line purchases as exchanging is painful. She also offered me a sale which was nice. They then called to verify the purchase, which is also a nice touch since online purchasing is rife with fraudsters. The parka arrived as stated and boxed very nicely. As soon as I saw it, I could tell the quality was built in. I immediately put it on and it became one with me. It felt great and after wearing it a day or two, I would say it is the perfect working parka. The sleeves dont roll up or break when moving. The tail stays with you while getting in and out of vehicles. The jacket is just the right length so access to pants pockets is reasonable. The jacket feels warm and the hood piece is a total compliment. Work does take me occasionally into the lower artic, and I feel this parka will serve me very well. I highly recommend this parka to those that need to actually work in the cold environments. The parka's weight is evenly distributed and so far it really has moved well."
"It seems to be a warm coat, I've been in subzero snow storms with it and has kept me warm. If you are going to wear a sweater or sweat shirt with it make sure you order a size larger. it will save you time and money on return/replacement to get a larger size"
"I purchased my coat about five years ago and realized I never wrote a review. First, you will never need to repurchase another serious winter coat. This is the warmest coat I've ever worn. Anything above 0 degrees F will make you sweat. One thing to remember: it's heavy, but it has to be to be this warm. This isn't just a coat but a piece of art. It is incredibly well constructed and will be something to hand down to the next generation. Well done Cockpit! BTW - thank you for supporting the Air Museum. My great-uncle was a bombardier in the 15th Air Force out of Italy during WWII."
"They had to make this upon order and beat their time estimate by weeks. The coat is amazing. The fit chart helped make sure it fit great!"

"I bought my B-7 Aleutian two years ago. I live in northern New England on a hill at 1800 feet. On those extra cold nights when wind chills can hit -45F, this coat can almost be too warm. The quality is exceptional and the design spot on. I waited for about three years before I could afford my coat, and I have absolutely no regrets. Thanks CockpitUSA for a great product."
