Excellent Jacket
"This is my first leather jacket and I am more than impressed. Excellent fit and finish as well as customer service. I am between sizes, leaning more towards the 2XL and wound up sizing down to the XL. I'm sure there will be a little break in, and the fit is perfect, with a little wiggle room. This jacket does have surprisingly high armholes, so if you're athletically built, it might catch you off guard. Strangely, getting a layer underneath doesn't make it feel more restricted, so cannot say I'm worried. I would highly recommend speaking with Customer Service if you're between sizes, or just unsure of cut, something I did not do initially (lesson learned), however it all worked out in the end. So now I have a perfect fitting, adaptable jacket that I'm certain will last quite a while. I'm sure black is more popular than brown, however I would highly recommend the brown. It's very rich, with good texture, still soft to the hand and no doubt durable. I like the weight in particular, as a kind of midweight, perfect for cooler weather. For my first leather jacket with the quality and service I've experienced, I will be back for more. Thank you CockpitUSA!"

Fantastic! Stylish and Lightweight Jacket
"FINALLY!! That's what I thought as soon as putting this on. I tried several other jackets prior to this one - all good in their own right - but returned them all, and wound up with a winner: the Calfskin Leather Jean Jacket. I am almost 6'3", have a linebacker/basketball forward type build, and wear a 42L suit. Fortunately someone else noted the snug fit of this style, which is spot-on. Although it's classified a regular fit, it seems closer to slim-fit. It was a toss-up between and L and XL: I ordered the XL and it fits perfectly. If you can't decide, definitely err on going a size (or even 2 sizes up) for this jacket style. This is on the lighter (weight & material) side, perfect for cool nights here in Southern CA. It is extremely stylish and versatile - goes well dressed-down with jeans and a t-shirt, or dressed-up with slacks + shirt & tie. Btw, though the model pictured is on a motorcycle, I would recommend you pick up a heavier-weight jacket if you're looking for something to wear riding. Finally, a big thank you to the Cockpit customer service team, especially Shanice, who were all super-patient and understanding with my order. Exceptional quality jacket, and exceptional quality service -- I will definitely be buying from Cockpit again in the future."

"I have had the jacket for a little bit and I have a couple complaints... The buttons are not standard shank buttons but have a swivel to them and they have a poor quality about them (the rivets are cracked on several of the buttons and not seated fully.). The jacket was returned for repair and came back in worse condition... more bad buttons and back to Cockpit it goes. One panel of leather does not match the rest of the jacket. Overall I would not buy this again and I hope Cockpit makes this right."
