This G-1 bomber jacket features a removable mouton fur collar, and an interior lined pilot’s escape map appliqué used originally by allied military pilots should they be shot down over enemy occupied territory to help them evade capture. Proudly manufactured in the USA, Cockpit USA's G1 bomber is made for the authentic man.

Better than I ever expected
"This jacket is a knockout! The quality of the leather and the construction are superb! The jacket is also very warm. One small negative is that when the jacket is completely zipped, the zipper gets caught on the wind flap when the zipper is pulled down. It’s a minor issue and hopefully after a some more use the problem will go away."

"This is my third G1 jacket purchase from Cockpit USA and it does not disappoint. This is a luxurious yet rugged flight jacket that radiates quality and supreme craftsmanship inside and out. This jacket has some weight to it, which is one of the specs I look for in a G1 - you know you have something on! When you throw on this masterpiece, you know what Batman feels like getting into his suit - you're assuming a different persona. This jacket (like my other Cockpit USA G1s) turns heads, it gets noticed. When you walk into a busy restaurant with this on, you instantly feel eyes upon you. I get at least two compliments from strangers every time I wear it. When I have traveled with this (which is often during three seasons of the year), people stop me walking through the airport and ask about it. Thus, if you are looking for a flight jacket that is supremely comfortable and looks like a million bucks (and one that will only look better and better with age, and your grandkids will fight over it when your dead) - this is the one for you. Yes, it costs some coin, but it's worth every cent and then some. Look at this jacket the way many look at an Omega or Rolex watch it's an investment. One that will pay dividends, in many ways. Plus, you'll look awesome in it - guaranteed. Happy Flying!"
