The US Navy Bridge Coat is finely tailored from 34-ounce Navy Melton Wool, and has its signature windbreak collar that is both functional and fashionable. As it has through its history the coat shields its wearer from the harsh winter weather of today’s daily routines just as it did for the sailors who wore it on the bridges of historic Navy ships on the frigid rough seas of the North Atlantic, or back at home during Winter Shore duty. Adorned with eight authentic USN gold eagle and anchor embossed buttons along its front closure, the tailoring of this US Navy overcoat's double-breasted front enclosure also lends to its classic formal look and function. Lined with a smooth rayon lining makes it perfectly suited for wear over both casual and formal wear. The USN Bridge Coat, proudly made in the USA, is made for those who appreciate function, quality, heritage, and classic style in a US Navy-style overcoat.

"After researching multiple bridge coats, I decided on Cockpit. Was not disappointed, and fairly sure this cost will last for the next 40 years."
"Fantastic coat, warm, comfortable, ok for everyday. Great design and quality materials, I am very satisfied. I am 6’ 1 (188 cm), 182/185 lb (82/84 kg) and it suits perfectly"
"The coat is an excellent version of the Navy Bridge Coat worn by officers in the US Navy. It's longer than the standard Peacoat, with more decorative striping and buttons, making it look more formal for officers. So if you have been searching for a version of this overcoat, like I have, stop looking, this is it. The fit and finish on this is outstanding. While made for a standard size, the craftsmanship is excellent. I can see the hand stitching and very high quality materials that have been used, similar to much more expensive overcoats from other retailers. After wearing it around and looking at the craftsmanship, I have to say it was a steal at the price. I know how that might strike you at first for a 700 overcoat, but the one's I have compared it to are easily in the 1200+ category, and not as well made, as stylish and durable. This is not an Amazon special. It's the real deal. And it is EXCELLENT!!!! Every time I have worn it, people have commented on it, finding it pleasing, striking and stylish. And it is comfortable as hell and super warm in the weather. I love it. It's a forever coat, as a Navy Bridgcoat should be. I have nothing but excellent things to say about the customer service at Cockpit. Top Notch organization. When my coat was a bit late, they called apologized and explained when it would come and that it would be worth waiting for. Top flight organization. Top Flight Product. Thank you. I am fully delighted."
