30+ years ago, I bought a basic leather jacket while working in Yellowstone Park as a waiter. After a lot of use and abuse, it had reached its end. I started looking for a quality replacement and kept coming back to this jacket. My wife finally talked me into pulling the trigger. It is gorgeous! The craftsmanship is obvious and the quality of the leather is too. It's an amazing jacket. Honestly, it's the most I've ever spent on a jacket and its worth every freaking penny. "My first Cockpit jacket. Chose a 44 so I could layer up underneath. I week in, I spilled battery acid on the sleeve which left some holes. But now it's 'battle worn. ' I wear this bomber with the waist band folded under for a classic look. The thick leather and snug cuffs make it a suitable motor cycle jacket too. Bravo!"

"The leather smells genuine and the sheen is great but the jacket was just too large so I had to return it at my expense. With the $30 shipping to me and $50 return shipping charge, I lost $80 so will not be doing this again. Too bad."

"This jacket is the perfect combination of cool and rugged individualism with just enough flare that makes people turn heads without looking "too flashy". This jacket is a good weight - not overly heavy but enough where you know you have something on. It layers well with a sweater or sweatshirt underneath and is just as great with only a t-shirt. I own 6 different Cockpit USA jackets to include a mix of G1 and A2s of different leathers and weights. This is my new "go to". If you're on the fence about dropping some bones on this - don't think, just do it. You'll never regret it and I would eat PBJ for two weeks to make up the cash if I needed to. It's just that great. Plus, your grandkids will fight over it when your dead."
