"This is the most stylish jacket I've ever owned. I've been wearing this for a year now and I get compliments on it all of the time. I think I can speak for most men when I say its a big deal when we get any sort of compliments in our lives, so getting some while wearing this G-1 jacket has been great. Construction of the jacket seems to be very well made. Zipper is tough and has not failed me yet. The collar is very comfortable and the leather has held up well so far. Jacket is warm, but since I am on the tall side 6'4'', it almost feels an inch or two short compared to your normal jackets. However, if you see how these are worn by aviators on active duty it actually fits as intended. You will get the Top Gun jokes once in awhile, but they're really just jealous because they don't have one too, so dont worry about it. Just enjoy an amazing, American made product."

"Purchased 4 and a half years ago. It took some email exchanges to dial in my size, that proved to be a wise move as the jack fits very well. The leather quality is top notch, the Natural fur collar is a plus, no sissy hand pockets, heavy duty zipper, quality construction, wind flap works. What surprised me was the weight, this is warm but breathes. I served on a carrier and always had flight jacket envy. The only wear issue is the knit waistband and wrist cuffs are pilling. That cannot be stopped. I've included images after applying patches from my '82 cruise in the Med. I am completely satisfied with my purchase, no buyer's remorse at all. If you are looking for a quality civilian replica of a G-1, this is an excellent choice."
"Where do I start, been wanting a G1 for years and finally pulled the trigger on this, my prerequisites for finding the right one was 1. Being handmade in the US 2. Made from quality materials 3. Cut properly to fit me comfortably. So the cockpit ticked all the boxes! I love wearing it, its not too warm but keeps the cold out enough, and I keep getting compliments about it (even my wife) In a world of throw away plastic fashion its nice to see people like cockpit make a High quality, durable product that will no doubt last as long as me. I have large shoulders and neck so was advised to get the next size up, im pretty the jacket is cut the classic way (when people were skinnier) people are generally larger built now, compared to the old days. . . so its advisable to bare this in mind."
