Great Jacket

"Love the Jacket it is Very warm, doing preflight and deicing in 25 degree weather with only a long sleeve underneath I was plenty warm. I will say it going to take some breaking in, with the insulation it is stiff and bulky and limits movement some. I'm 5'7" about 175 and ordered the medium, its a little tight across the shoulders and in the armpits when stretching my arms out and above my head, sleeve length, girth, and jacket length is perfect. I do have a broad chest so that could be a contributing factor. Looking at measurements large would be too big for me. Overall great jacket, well built, and warm."

Exceptionnal

"I had been looking for an aviator jacket for a long time, mine being very tired. I had initially chosen an American competitor brand of Cockpit USA. I was a little hesitant to buy on the internet. So I decided to go to a «brick and mortar» shop where I could try out different models. The one I had initially chosen did not satisfy me, the salesman suggested others and eventually the Cockpit USA G1 (heir of the famous brand Avirex) and I was immediately seduced. Everything is top quality in this jacket: look, leather, cut, seams, fur collar (not synthetic !). It is very, very comfortable. In addition, there is a «pilot escape map» of France embroidered on the lining, which for me, as a French, reminds me of the American involvment during WW2. Everyone compliments me when I wear this jacket. True, it was twice as expensive as the one I had considered buying, but the difference in quality is such that I did not hesitate. As the French proverb says: «the price is forgotten, the quality remains» ! I’m thinking of buying the same for my wife !"

"Jacket quality is first-rate. Very comfortable, but will definitely take some time to completely loosen up. I normally wear an XL but went with 2Xl on this because I wanted extra freedom of movement and the ability to wear a heavy shirt / light sweatshirt under on really cold days."
