"Coat is fantastic! So happy with it!"
"This jacket has good weight and quality. Fits perfectly."
"I am very pleased with this purchase. Extremely well made and the quality of the leather is like 'thick butter'. I am 6. 3 and 193# and I got an XL. The sleeves and shoulders fit comfortable without being snug. The waist I had to bring in in to alter so it looks a bit more tailored when buttoned. Definitely 5 star +."
"The sizing chart is a little weird and I originally ordered a coat that was too large. However, the exchange process was very smooth and straightforward. The Leather Navel Officer's Coat quality is top notch, and is all but guaranteed to last a lifetime. I liked the coat so much that I bought another leather jacket (Type 440 USN Carrier) from Cockpit, which is of equal quality and construction. The products are superb and I'm ready to buy more."
"I recently got my coat and this at 10! My purchase in the Cockpit USA made me very happy again! The coat is wonderful! I like everything: thick leather, style, and of course the quality of the Cockpit USA masters! Fast delivery and convenient payment! This is my favorite store for this type of clothing!! I advise everyone to buy this chic coat!"
"Beautifully made, looks great, would definitely recommend."
"I recently received my coat and am very happy with the purchase! As always, I like everything about the products of this manufacturer! Leather, style, everything is fine! I advise everyone!"
"Not a jacket for extremely cold climates however, the quality is top notch ! The leather is very soft and subtle. The 3 XL fits me perfectly. I love this jacket and recommend it for anyone !"
"This jacket is soft and comfy, warm and cool looking. The salesperson was clearly knowledgeable of the subject."
"I'm an actual airline pilot here in the USA. I bought the black in XL. What I LOVE: Not cut to fit "EVERYBODY". I’m 6’3”, a 44” chest and a 33” waist. No alterations except for sleeve length needed and an XL fits. The leather is an excellent hybrid of soft and supple but thick and heavy. Not so stiff that it stands up on its own like a motor cycle jacket or other leather utility garment. Enjoyable to touch, yet not as smooth as a high end Italian designer leather. I’m also not going to cry if it winds up getting a scratch or two from everyday use. Stitching is heavy. Hardware seems heavy and resilient. Let’s see if they addressed the buttons popping off issue they’ve had on a few occasions in the past. Being a tall man I did need one alteration made. At a 37” arm, the sleeves were a half to a full inch too short. After a fitting in their NYC showroom they mailed it off to their manufacturing facility and for an extra charge they lengthened the sleeves. What could be BETTER: Not enough to knock it out of a 5-Star rating. They need to add this coat to their collection of Long styles. I could have used an extra 2 inches in the body. Secondly: this is not a deep winter coat. Very little insulation between the lining and the inside of the outer leather. For trips I know will be really cold, I’ll wear one of those powder-down, quilted, light weight vests under the coat. Say Delta, why isn’t this faithfully executed Navy overcoat YOUR uniform standard? Perhaps it could be?"
