For our new pre-aged horsehide A-2 jacket for sale, we started with the classic style we use for our WWII government issue type A-2 horsehide flight jacket in dark brown mahogany. Knowing that thousands of these jackets were manufactured till 1943 and some are still in use, we wanted to recreate what one of these jackets might look like after 80 years of wear and tear. This worn A-2 leather jacket is crafted from full grain horsehide, with many of the original traits of a jacket issued back then, but fully wearable. We put these jackets through a very time consuming, hand aging process so not one of the jackets looks exactly like another. Enjoy this aged to perfection A-2 which will set you apart from others wearing a brand new version. This worn leather jacket style is not meant for all customers, but stand out and be one of the first to purchase this completely unique horsehide flight jacket for sale.

"Amazing jacket. I have two other Cockpit A-2 jackets — the “Flying Tigers 23rd Fighter Group Jacket” (Z21V60) and the “Spirit of ’45 Pinup Jacket” — and this is easily my favorite. To be clear, I love the other two as well, especially the “Flying Tigers” version, but this plain one is my new favorite. The battleworn look is beautiful and the horsehide is unbelievably supple. It’s like butter."

"Patina straight out of the box! A very comfortable A-2 jacket to wear. As you wear this a few times it develops more patina on all the high spots, which is great if you’re looking for that, been there done that look!"

"Great jacket. Supple, thicker matte hide feels great right off the bat. Sizing is accurate. While it's not "correct" to have an inside pocket, it's very practical and discreet. Kudos for offering it without side warmer pockets. Though it's not an exact copy of an original maker A-2, the comfort and looks make this a very appealing jacket for the money."
