Sizing is not easy to follow.

"This is a beautifully crafted, high-quality peacoat. However, it took me a while to figure out the store’s sizing. The medium fits perfectly in the shoulders with just a little room at the hips, while the large was too big in the shoulders and had more room at the hips than I needed. I chose the medium because the large was simply too big on top. It would be great if this issue could be addressed. Also, please bring back the lovely story description about this jacket that you had before, and consider offering petite women’s sizes so we don’t have to spend extra money on alterations, especially for arm length."

"Finally a high quality peacock that's flattering! I have been wearing it all the time since the weather has been cold and I especially love the hidden sleeve cuffs. "This is a beautifully made jacket. It fits like it was made for me. Heavy duty wool, buttons are large and sewn to stay on forever (a bit snug to close though), nicely lined (not a cheap lining), love the slim inside chest pocket (not at all bulky)- why don't more women's jackets/coats have this handy feature?, knit cuffs at the wrist, collar is beefy and stays up when you want it up. It is a very deep dark navy. This coat has some weight to it for sure. About the the fit, I measured with a tape measure as directed and got the large as recommended - way too big in the shoulders and across the body. I typically take a small in just about everything (5' 7"), 138 lbs (adding this since I find it helpful in reviews) but went with the suggested large. I called customer service and got a real person, Lauren, who spent a good 10 minutes on the phone with me (when did this last happen?) going over the size issues. She offered that customers typically find the coat too snug, so my situation was different for her. She worked with me, I returned the large and a medium arrived promptly. Perfect fit. I like it fitted. I did not want it to not accommodate a bulky sweater under it. This is not a small dollar purchase for me and paying the shipping fees was a consideration (I get it, small business, handmade goods, etc). Lauren's customer service persuaded me to continue and I'm so glad I did. Beautifully made coat that will last style wise and quality wise. I'm glad that I didn't give up. Oh, and this is my first review ever - to give you an idea of how pleased I am with the coat and the customer service."

"I LOVE this coat! Thank you! I can tell that a lot of love and hard work went into making my Navy pea coat. The wool is so soft and it fits better than any pea coat I have ever tried on (and I've been looking for years). I am a very petite woman at 5'4", 100 lbs and the XS fits perfectly and gives me room to put a sweater underneath, too. Please forward it on to the manufacturing team that they do beautiful work. I had problems with the sizing chart

"When I finally managed to get the right size I loved it!😅 I had to exchange twice because I didn’t understand there sizing charts at all. I even took the special fitting test and it told me to get the wrong size.😑 In the long run it costed me an extra $165 with all the extra shipping and quality check when they received them( I cut the tags off one of the times). They were fast at sending me the next one coat and returning any emails. It’s beautiful, and comfortable though 😊."
